About ECM
Built from the gap between rehab and performance
The Elastic Constraint Model grew out of a simple frustration: golfers were being handed either generic gym programs or isolated rehab drills, and neither addressed why their bodies kept breaking down in the same places.
ECM reframes the body as a set of interdependent loops. When one loop is restricted, the others compensate — and that compensation is what you feel as tightness, loss of speed, or recurring injury. Fix the loops in the right order, and performance follows.
Today ECM is both a coaching practice for golfers and a teaching framework for the practitioners who want to reason the same way.

What we believe
Pain is a signal, not the problem
Where it hurts is rarely where it starts. We trace symptoms back to the loop driving them and intervene there.
Order beats effort
The right exercise in the wrong sequence does nothing. Correction must converge before load, every session.
Reproducible beats charismatic
A method is only as good as another practitioner's ability to repeat it. ECM is documented, teachable, and consistent.
